Tucked in the old Fanefjord Forest is a restaurant that exudes character and charm. Fanefjord Skovpavillon was built in 1883 and is fantastically located in a forest clearing surrounded by tall beech trees. The cosy rooms, including fireplace, hunting room and entertainment room has hosted many celebrations over the years, and locals still use the facilities for celebrations.
The restaurant’s hosts invite to you try their a la carte selection made from fine quality ingredients. Tasty Danish classics and dishes with a twist comprising salads and French-inspired delights are all served. If you are a group on tour, the forest pavilion also offers a picnic bag with various tasty sandwiches that you can take with you in the woods. One day’s notice is required.
