Thorsvang is a wonderful museum with a fantastic collection. It’s a great place to experience everyday life from when grandpa was young, through the many shops and workshops that are filled with things from the old days. Visit the grocer, the butcher, the baker, the barber and many more, and see or reacquaint yourself with typical items from the past. Children may be surprised to visit a school room from the mid-1900s, while adults enthuse at the range in the toy store that may bring back memories.
The museum is run by enthusiasts, and the exhibition is created from contributions from lots of people who have saved chunks of the past.
If you fancy a bite to eat, Café Tot is there to welcome you with a traditional Danish lunch in the style of the day.
