With a twinkle in his eye, the Camino de Santiago takes its name from the famous pilgrimage route the Camino in Spain. The humorous spin-off and the routes do not mean that Camino de Santiago should not be taken seriously! Here you have the opportunity to walk or cycle through some of Denmark’s most beautiful scenery and experience the finest seasonal delights from the forest, field and coast.
The Camino de Santiago is Denmark’s friendliest hiking trail. The stages are both beautiful and challenging, but above all lovely. There are many places to stay along the way and there should be something for everyone whether you want to sleep under the stars or in a comfortable room. There are shelters along the way which are often located with sea views. Here you can cook over an open fire and enjoy the starry sky at night. The Camino de Santiago card shows the stages and the facilities located along the way and it is available to buy from Møns Museum in Stege.
